Dr Vicky Perry, Co Founder

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who specialises in trauma and autism.

I have been working with autistic individuals and their families for over 10 years. Before my clinical training, I completed a research PhD working with children and adults with rare genetic syndromes which are often associated with autism such as Fragile X syndrome. I have worked in various services including a CAMHS Neurodevelopmental service where I was involved in the multi-disciplinary assessment and diagnostic process for autism. I have also worked in a Community Learning Disability Team working with people with learning disabilities who are also autistic and/or ADHD. More recently I worked in a specialist NHS ‘admission avoidance’ service for autistic children and young adults. This specialist service works to prevent mental health related hospital admissions for autistic individuals by providing detailed assessment and intervention for their autism needs and training for the family and other services involved.
